A federal judge overseeing the opioid multidistrict litigation is weighing whether to disqualify Motley Rice from dozens of cases filed against pharmacy benefit managers. U.S. District Judge Dan Polster, in Ohio's Northern District, hasn't yet ruled on whether to grant a disqualification motion filed by one of the pharmacy benefit managers, OptumRx, which insists Motley Rice obtained confidential information from the company while representing the state of Hawaii, the District of Columbia and the city of Chicago in separate cases.
