O'Melveny & Myers on Tuesday announced the hiring of restructuring partner Julian Gurule in Los Angeles. Gurule formerly co-chaired Buchalter's insolvency group and arrives with 16 years of experience representing a variety of clients in bankruptcy court and out-of-court restructurings.For O'Melveny, the move kicks off a year that Gurule expects to be the biggest in corporate restructuring since the early months of COVID-19, before government stimulus funds kicked in.
