A quadrennial New York commission on Monday unanimously voted to halt a freeze on judicial salaries at five years in April. The New York State Commission on Legislative, Judicial and Executive Compensation's 7-0 vote recommends state judges receive 10.3% salary increases on April 1, their first raises since 2019.
