Leadership at the National Rifle Association took no steps to discipline former CEO Wayne LaPierre after learning he had used around $1 million of the nonprofit's assets for personal expenses, a witness told jurors Monday. NRA president Charles Cotton admitted under questioning by Assistant Attorney General Stephen Shiffman that the NRA never moved to penalize LaPierre after learning he'd used the funds for yacht trips and chartered planes.
