Dollar General was hit with a premises liability lawsuit on March 5 in North Carolina Superior Court for Wake County. The suit was brought by the Law Offices of Gregory M. Kash on behalf of Oakley Dean Baldwin, who allegedly developed cardiac issues after being accidentally locked in the defendant's store on a day when the store closed early. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 24CV007488-910, Baldwin v. Dolgencorp LLC.
