An employee who had recently returned from maternity leave sued her employer after it failed to provide her a secluded space free of intrusions to pump breast milk during the work day. The lawsuit was brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Fair Labor Standards Act, Connecticut General Statutes and Connecticut State Law.
