Lyft was hit with a personal injury lawsuit on April 25 in New York Supreme Court for Queens County. The lawsuit was filed by Flanzig & Flanzig on behalf of a plaintiff who was allegedly struck by a rider on an electric Citi Bike. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 708809/2024, Richard Jones v. Lyft, Inc. et al.
