Counsel at Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers on Monday removed a personal injury lawsuit against property management company Wingate Management to Georgia Northern District Court. The suit, was filed by Reynolds Law Group on behalf of Demario Newton, who contends that he was shot multiple times while visiting a relative at The Village of Bedford Pines Apartments complex and accuses Wingate of failing to provide adequate security and warn tenants and visitors of the prevalence of criminal activity. The case is 1:22-cv-01694, Newton v. Wingate Management Company, LLC.
