UnitedHealth Group, Oxford Health Plan and UMR were hit with an insurance coverage lawsuit on Nov. 27 in New Jersey Superior Court for Union County. The court case, filed by Lauletta Birnbaum LLC and Athene Law LLP on behalf of Healthcare Justice Coalition, seeks payment for emergency services provided to policyholders on an out-of-network basis.
