A superior court judge has dismissed an election contest that challenged Judge-elect Jeff Davis' recent election to the Georgia Court of Appeals.In an order filed Wednesday, Senior Judge David Emerson attributed the dismissal, in part, to petitioner counsel's improper verification and untimely amendment of the underlying petition that rendered the filing "fatally defective."
