Clark County School District and other defendants were sued on April 3 in Nevada District Court for Clark County in connection with a student's attack on his teacher. The lawsuit was brought by Kemp Jones LLP on behalf of an anonymous plaintiff who was strangled, sexually assaulted and beaten severely. The plaintiff alleges that the school was negligent in implementing its own safety policies which allowed the attack to happen. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants.
