Marjorie Maginnis and Maginnis Law Firm were hit with a legal malpractice lawsuit on Jan. 25 in North Carolina Superior Court for Buncombe County. The court case, brought by Burt Langley PC on behalf of American Ira LLC, accuses the defendants of failing to properly advise the plaintiff in relation to business operations by failing to draft requested policies, review documents and complete risk assessments. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 24 cv 00374, American Ira LLC v Maginnis.
