Davis Wright Tremaine filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the U.S. Central Command and the Department of Defense Wednesday in California Southern District Court. The suit, filed on behalf of National Public Radio and correspondent Graham Smith, seeks a response to a 2019 request for documentation related to a Marine Corps 'friendly fire' incident that occurred in Fallujah in 2004.
