Attorneys from Williams Mullen have entered appearances for 3M, the producer of Post-It notes and other consumer and industrial goods, in a pending defamation lawsuit. The action, filed Dec. 6 in South Carolina District Court by Griffin Humphries LLC and Richard A. Harpootlian PA on behalf of Mr. Tint, arises from a letter sent from 3M to a Spartanburg school district alleging that Mr. Tint did not use authentic 3M products in its contracted work to install window films. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Timothy M. Cain, is 7:23-cv-06279, Mr. Tint, Inc. v. 3M Company.
