New Suit - Landlord-Tenant, Insurance

An apartment tenant sued Nationwide Insurance and landlord Edward Rose & Sons on Oct. 25 in Michigan Circuit Court for Oakland County for claims arising from a burst pipe, flooding and an HVAC malfunction. The plaintiff, represented by Alspector Sosin & Noveck, claims to have suffered $70,000 in property damage and that the apartment leased by Edward Rose & Sons has become infested by bats. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2023-203440-CZ, Hamilton v. Nationwide Insurance Co.
