Aetna Life Insurance was hit with an ERISA lawsuit Friday in Florida Southern District Court. The case, seeking coverage for newborn medical services, was brought by Health and Medicine Law Firm on behalf of Dina Mendoza. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:23-cv-22237, Mendoza v. Aetna Life Insurance Company.
