McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter has asked a U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge to dismiss a Chapter 11 bankruptcy petition by the firm's former chief financial officer, who pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $1.5 million from the firm. The firm says former CFO John Dunlea's Chapter 11 petition should be dismissed because it was brought in bad faith.
