General Motors has tapped attorney Matthew R. Beatty of Beatty Navarre Strama to fight a pending breach-of-warranty lawsuit. The suit, for claims under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, was filed Nov. 14 in Texas Southern District Court by Kimmel & Silverman on behalf of the purchaser of a new 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 vehicle. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Ricardo H. Hinojosa, is 7:23-cv-00401, Lopez-Enriquez v. General Motors, LLC.
