Lawyers at Venable on Sunday removed a shareholder lawsuit against the founders of Coastal Holding Company, an operator of cannabis dispensaries, to California Central District Court. The complaint, filed by the Law Office of Nigel Burns on behalf of investor LMAJ, accuses the defendants of negotiating to sell the company without required approval from Series B equity holders. The case is 8:21-cv-01533, Lmaj, LLC v. Michalowski et al.
