Hunton Andrews Kurth filed an insurance lawsuit Monday in Massachusetts District Court on behalf of the restaurant chain Legal Sea Foods. The suit pursues claims against Strathmore Insurance Company related to business losses stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the suit, Legal Sea Foods' policy with Strathmore, which is capped at $94.8 million, took effect March 1 and does not contain a virus or pandemic exclusion.
