A former professor and outspoken critic of former President Donald Trump sued Yale University Monday in Connecticut District Court for breach of contract and wrongful termination. Bandy Lee, who served as a faculty member of the Law and Psychiatry Division at Yale School of Medicine for 17 years, contends that she was unlawfully terminated at the behest of Professor Alan Dershowitz based on her exercise of free speech. Lee is represented by Rose Kallor LLP. Counsel have not yet appeared for Yale. The case is 3:21-cv-00389, Lee v. Yale University.
