A New Jersey attorney has been ordered to pay $71,238 in sanctions for continuing to litigate a special education dispute with a school district after his case became frivolous. Jamie Mark Epstein, a solo practitioner in Hamilton, came in for some harsh criticism from U.S. District Judge Karen M. Williams after appealing an administrative law judge's decision concerning the education of a kindergarten student with Down syndrome.
