Kirkland & Ellis announced four lateral partners on Tuesday and Wednesday, including debt finance partner Paul Sandler from Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and insurance M&A partner Jack Yamin from Sidley Austin. Kirkland also hired David Levy and Brian Senie, tax partners from Weil, Gotshal & Manges. Sandler's arrival to Kirkland's New York office marks the continuation of a talent battle between Kirkland and Paul Weiss, which began last August when Kirkland hired Paul Weiss' London office leader Alvaro Membrillera.
