Proofpoint, an enterprise security company, and its board of directors were slapped with a shareholder lawsuit Friday in New York Southern District Court over the company's proposed acquisition by private equity firm Thoma Bravo. The case was filed by Ademi LLP and Monteverde & Associates on behalf of Micah King. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:21-cv-05398, King v. Proofpoint, Inc. et al.
