Kimberly S. Davis and Michael C. Guarino of Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart have stepped in as defense counsel to Town Village Vestavia Hills in a pending employment discrimination lawsuit. The action was filed July 8 in Alabama Northern District Court by Winston Cooks LLC and the Beeman Law Firm on behalf of a dining service supervisor who contends that she was wrongfully terminated in retaliation for speaking up about being subjected to disparate treatment based on sex and gender. The case, assigned to U.S. Magistrate Judge Nicholas A. Danella, is 2:24-cv-00895, Jones v. Town Village Vestavia Hills.
