Attorneys at Winston & Strawn on Tuesday removed a $10 million breach-of-contract lawsuit against professional basketball player LaMelo Ball to California Central District Court. The suit, filed by Tesser Grossman LLP on behalf of Amber Johnson, claims that Ball, who plays for the Charlotte Hornets, reneged on an agreement to retain Johnson's public relations services and has refused to pay finders fees to Johnson for her role in securing multi-million dollar sponsorships with Caffeine Inc. and Puma. The case is 2:22-cv-00884, Johnson v. Ball.
