David H. Bernstein of Debevoise & Plimpton and Jeffrey A. Barker of O'Melveny & Myers have entered appearances for HRB Digital and HRB Tax Group in a pending lawsuit over alleged false advertising and unfair competition. The action, filed Jan. 15 in California Northern District Court by Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr on behalf of Intuit, accuses H&R Block of making false and misleading price comparisons between its online tax preparation products and Intuit's TurboTax products. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Beth Labson Freeman, is 5:24-cv-00253, Intuit Inc. v. H&R Block, Inc.
