Latham & Watkins sued Samsung Electronics and two U.S. subsidiaries for patent infringement Friday in Texas Eastern District Court. The lawsuit pursues claims on behalf of ImberaTek LLC, which asserts six patents related to the manufacture and design of semiconductors. The suit, also backed by Ward, Smith & Hill, takes aim at a large swatch of Samsung products, including its flagship Galaxy S and Galaxy Z smartphones. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:22-cv-00233, ImberaTek LLC v. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. et al.
