Attorney Stephen J. Dine was sued for legal malpractice on Aug. 11 in Illinois Circuit Court for Cook County. The suit was filed by Ball & McCann on behalf of former client Subhash Saluja, who allegedly retained Dine to recover more than $500,000 in unpaid loan balances from various cab companies. According to the complaint, the plaintiff's claims against the cab companies were dismissed for lack of prosecution by Dine. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant.
