Home Depot was hit with a premises liability lawsuit on April 23 in Illinois Circuit Court for Cook County. The lawsuit was filed by Curcio & Casciato and Owaynat Law Group on behalf of a plaintiff who was allegedly struck by a product that fell from a shelf. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2024L004395, Lopez v. Home Depot U.S.A. Inc.
