Humana sued Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Hikma Pharmaceuticals, Amneal Pharmaceuticals and other generic drug makers Friday in California Northern District Court over alleged antitrust violations. The lawsuit, filed by Schneider Wallace Cottrell Konecky and Lowey Dannenberg, claims that the defendants engaged in a scheme to restrain competition for the narcolepsy treatment Xyrem and its generic bioequivalents in the United States. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 3:21-cv-07934, Humana Inc. v. Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. et al.
