Target has turned to attorney Valerie Lu Ly of Germer & Gertz to fight a pending product liability and wrongful death lawsuit. The suit was filed July 17 in Texas Southern District Court by the Weycer Law Firm on behalf of parents who contend that their seven month year old baby died as a result of being wedged between the pillows and headboard of a 'Snuggle Me' baby lounger. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Lee H. Rosenthal, is 4:24-cv-02661, Hopper, et al. v. Peak 21 Holdings, Inc., et al.
