The Giant Company LLC was hit with an employment class action Monday in Pennsylvania Middle District Court following a 2021 ransomware attack on Kronos, a provider of payroll and timekeeping software. The suit, brought by Morgan & Morgan and Parmet PC on behalf of current and former non-exempt hourly employees, claims that the hack resulted in wage and hour violations. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-00501, Holbert et al v. The Giant Company LLC.
