Counsel at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr on Wednesday removed a civil RICO lawsuit against Chinese social network company Weibo Corp. and Chinese media conglomerate Sina Corp. to California Northern District Court. The suit, filed by Squire Patton Boggs on behalf of Netherlands-based Geosolutions B.V., alleges that Sina unlawfully used plaintiff's location-based services technology in violation of the terms of their software license agreement.
