Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan partners Stephen A. Broome, Viola Trebicka and Adam B. Wolfson have stepped in as defense counsel to Intuit, a financial technology company offering services including TurboTax, Credit Karma and QuickBooks, in a pending data breach class action. The action was filed July 1 in California Northern District Court by Strauss Borrelli PLLC on behalf of customers whose personally identifying information was allegedly compromised in a cyberattack that was disclosed in March 2024. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Edward J. Davila, is 5:24-cv-03960, Garite v. Intuit, Inc.
