Eugene A. Giotto and Victoria Rodgers of Cozen O'Connor have stepped in as defense counsel to the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs in a pending lawsuit. The complaint, filed April 12 in Pennsylvania Eastern District Court by Green & Schafle on behalf of The Estate of Brennan Firster, alleges that the Southern Veterans Center was negligent in providing care to Firster who contracted COVID-19 while at the skilled nursing facility. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Chad F. Kenney, is 2:22-cv-01426, Firster v. Pennsylvania Department Of Military And Veterans Affairs et al.
