An office of the State Bar of Texas, responding to Attorney General Ken Paxton's effort to throw out his disciplinary action for alleged unethical acts before the U.S. Supreme Court, turned tables on Paxton's claim the investigation is partisan politics. The Commission for Lawyer Discipline's disciplinary petition against Paxton was the result of a months-long investigation in response to five complaints submitted by several attorneys that protested Paxton's dishonest and repeatedly debunked representations in Texas v. Pennsylvania.
