East Georgia Judge Wade Padgett Appointed to Court of Appeal...

Gov. Brian Kemp on Monday appointed now-former Columbia County Superior Court Judge J. Wade Padgett to the Georgia Court of Appeals. Padgett was chosen to fill the vacancy created by the Supreme Court's 2023 removal of Court of Appeals Judge Christian Coomer for misconduct.
