Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance was hit with a class action Friday in New York Southern District Court. The lawsuit, filed by the Boonswang Law Firm, accuses Northwestern of failing to follow state regulations affording protections to life insurance policyholders amid COVID-19. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-05106, Drucker et al v. Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company.
