GrayRobinson filed a defamation lawsuit Tuesday in Florida Middle District Court on behalf of an anonymous plaintiff. The suit, against Predator Catchers Inc., a company focused on the exploitation of online child predators, and Eric Schmutte, accuses defendants of setting plaintiff up and subjecting him to false character accusations and defamatory actions in connection with meeting a woman off of Tinder whom plaintiff reasonably believed to be over the age of 18. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 3:22-cv-00414, Doe # 1 v. Predator Catchers, Inc. et al.
