Paltalk has agreed to acquire NewtekOne's wholly owned subsidiary Newtek Technology Solutions in a deal guided by Sullivan & Cromwell and Haynes and Boone. The transaction, announced Aug. 12, is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2024. Financial terms were not disclosed. New York-based Paltalk was advised by Haynes and Boone. NewtekOne was represented by a Sullivan & Cromwell team including partners Mehdi Ansari, Jeannette Bander, Jared Fishman and Eric Wang.
