Ascential plc has agreed to acquire the commercial assets of marketing firm Effie Worldwide in a deal guided by Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson. Financial terms were not disclosed. London-based Ascential was advised by a Fried Frank team that includes partners Michael Alter, Amy Blackman, Tobias Caspary, Jason Greenberg and Philip Richter. Counsel information for Effie Worldwide, which is based in New York, was not immediately available.
