Alimentation Couche-Tard has agreed to acquire GetGo Cafe + Market from supermarket retailer Giant Eagle. The transaction, announced Aug. 19, is expected to close in 2025. Financial terms were not disclosed. O'Hara Township, Pennsylvania-based Giant Eagle was advised by a Weil, Gotshal & Manges team led by U.S. private equity co-head Ramona Nee. Counsel information for Alimentation Couche-Tard, which is based in Canada, was not immediately available.
