Strawn Petroleum Holdings, an affiliate of funds managed by Oaktree Capital Group, announced that it has acquired certain shares of Peak 10 Energy Holdings. Financial terms were not disclosed. Dallas-based Strawn Petroleum was represented by Vinson & Elkins. The Vinson & Elkins team included partners John Grand, Guy Gribov, Dan Komarek and Brian Russell. Peak 10 Energy, which is based in Houston, was advised by a Baker Botts team including partners Clay Brett, Sarah Dodson, Erin Hopkins, Caitlin Lawrence and Jon Lobb.
