Simpson Thacher & Bartlett has guided the initial purchasers in the underwriting of a debt offering valued at an aggregate $1.2 billion. The issuance was announced Feb. 27 by Parsippany, New Jersey-based Avis Budget Rental Car Funding. The Simpson Thacher team included partners Jonathan Cantor and John Schueller.
