EQT Private Capital Asia has agreed to acquire PropertyGuru Group Ltd. form an affiliate of BPEA Private Equity Fund VIII Ltd. for an all-cash equity value of approximately $1.1 billion. The transaction, announced Aug. 16, is expected to close in fourth quarter of 2024. Stockholm-based EQT AB was advised by a Ropes & Gray team led by mergers & acquisition partners Ariel Deckelbaum and Suni Sreepada. Counsel information for PropertyGuru Group Ltd. was not immediately available.
