Orsted announced that it has agreed to acquire a 100 % equity interest in the business of the Ostwind group, an onshore wind and solar photovoltaic projects developer, for approximately 689 million euros ($699 million). The transaction, announced July 22, is expected to close in the second half of 2022. Denmark-based Orsted is advised by a Hengeler Mueller team led by partners Nicolas Bohm and Sebastian Schneider.
