WSP Global has agreed to acquire consulting firm POWER Engineers for $1.8 billion. The transaction, announced Aug. 12, is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2024. Montreal-based WSP Global was advised by Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Stikeman Elliott. The Skadden Arps team included M&A partners Jon Hlafter and June Dipchand. POWER Engineers, which is based in Hailey, Idaho, was represented by a Katten Muchin Rosenman team.
