Carrier Global Corp. has agreed to sell its commercial and residential fire business to an affiliate of Lone Star Funds for an enterprise value of $3 billion. The transaction, announced Aug. 15, is expected to close around the end of the third quarter. Palm Beach Gardens, Florida-based Carrier Global was advised by Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and Linklaters. The Paul Weiss team was led by corporate partner Laura Turano. The Linklaters deal team was led by partners Derek Tong, Matthew Devey, Georgina Kon, Anna Mitchell and Julia Schonbohm. Counsel information for Lone Star was not immediately available.
