The State of Delaware sued Inmediata Health Group on Oct. 17 in Delaware Court of Chancery over a cyberattack that exposed the personal information of approximately 1.5 million individuals between May 16, 2016 and January 15, 2019. The complaint accuses the defendant of violating the Delaware Consumer Fraud Act and the state's Data Breach Notification Law by failing to implement adequate security measures and waiting more than three months to notify those impacted. Counsel have not yet entered an appearance for the defendant. The case is 2023-1042, State of Delaware v. Inmediata Health Group, LLC.
